4th Annual Teresa’s Angels Ball
The Angels Ball is held in Scranton at St. Mary’s Center on Saturday, Sept. 19 with doors opening at 6 p.m. It’s semi-formal dress, no jeans please, and children attending may dress as their favorite Superhero. 8th Annual Bell’ Italia Festival
In Hazle Township the Bell’ Italia Festival is sponsored by Hazleton UNICO and it celebrates Italian-American heritage. It’s held at the Hazle Township Community Park on Community Park Boulevard September 19 & 20, each day 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. The festival features great food, wonderful entertainment, amusements for children, and food eating competitions. The event includes a pasta-eating contest, a meatball contest, arts, crafts, tricky trays and more!
Big Cash Bingo Party
A special “Big Cash Bingo Party” is in Drums at Good Shepherd Church on Route 309. It’s held Sunday, September 20 with doors opening at 11:30 a.m. Big Cash Bingo has $3,500 in prizes featuring 13 regular games and 3 special jackpots. Refreshments will be available to purchase.
