SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT -- Little League fans are gearing up for yet another big game in the Little League World Series.

The team from the Harrisburg area plays Wednesday night against Texas and plenty of fans made the trip.

With the team from Pennsylvania coming from about two hours away, the Texas fans are bound to be outnumbered by fans of Red Land Little League.

Everywhere you look at the Little League World Series complex, there are red shirts.  They represent Red Land Little League, aka the team from Pennsylvania.  Their fans came to South Williamsport by the dozen.

"I was here at 7 a.m. and I got tickets for inside!" exclaimed Jack Cichy from Lewisberry.

"I'm a Red Land High School grad," said Candice Conley, also from Lewisberry. "Go Red Land!  It's wonderful.  It's bringing the community together."

The boys from York County tell Newswatch 16 they feel like they are the home team at the Little League World Series because of all the support from the fans.

"It's been like a major league game that I've been to.  Everybody is there cheering for one team.  It's really cool for us to be that team that they're cheering for," said Braden Kolmansberger.

The team even had an audience at their game-day practice.

"It's been terrific because all of our parents can come and all of our friends because we're really close," said Camden Walter.

On a different field at the Little League complex, the Southwest Region team from Texas practiced.

Newswatch 16 spoke to some of the players.  They say even though there won't be as many people cheering them on, it is fine with them.

"It doesn't really matter to us because when we cross the line, it's just us and the other team.  We're just trying to win a ballgame," said Texas player Lloyd Richards.

Players on the Texas team say they've been on the road all summer, so the opposing fans are not a distraction.

"We like to just block out all the media and everything, focus on the game and just try to win our games," said Conner Deleon.

The game starts at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lamade Stadium.
