Stroudsburg Borough Bicentennial Celebration
Stroudsburg Borough celebrates its Bicentennial at StroudFest on Main Street in Stroudsburg. It starts with a free concert at the Sherman Theater on Friday, September 4 at 7 p.m. Festivities on Saturday, September 5, begin at 11 a.m. at Court House Square with music throughout the day at various locations, an ice cream social, a time capsule burial, special menus at local restaurants, and a fireworks display at 8 p.m.
Spark Lab Mini Petting Zoo
In Bloomsburg, The Children’s Museum hosts the Spark Lab Mini Petting Zoo. The event offers children the opportunity to get a close-up, hands-on look at furry animals while learning about their habits. The Mini Petting Zoo is Saturday, September 5, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at The Children’s Museum on West 7th Street in Bloomsburg. Seeing the animals is a great learning experience for children.
