EMERSON, N.J. — A train crash in New Jersey claimed the life of a man from Monroe County.
Authorities say it appears Vaclav Budak, 87, of Stroudsburg had driven on the tracks for about a mile before a train collided with his vehicle Thursday morning. He was killed.
None of the 110 people on the train was seriously hurt.
