DALLAS -- A former Dallas High School football coach who was suing the district for wrongful termination has apparently settled with the district.
A judge ordered the suit be dismissed, saying the two parties have reached a settlement.
Ted Jackson was fired back in 2011. He then filed a lawsuit against the district saying he was fired for political reasons. This all came after Jackson had coached the Mountaineers for 26 years.
The details of the settlement have not been released, but a judge did say that if the settlement is not finalized within 60 days the case could go back to court.
