SCRANTON -- Flames broke out at a building in Scranton Wednesday night.
Crews were called out around 8 p.m. to the place on Capouse Avenue in Scranton.
Heavy smoke could be seen pouring into the sky as firefighters battled the flames. Part of the building collapsed.
The four-story building used to house the Doghouse Saloon. Before that, it was the Clubhouse bar, a nuisance bar that was shut down in 2006.
City officials said the place had apartments were being used as a rooming house. They believe everyone made it out safely and no firefighters were injured. One man had to be rescued from a window.
The Red Cross says it is helping 21 people displaced.
"It's terrible. Everything I own is there. I just worked two years to get what I have now and now this is what I have, my Primo uniform," said Michelle DeLeon of Scranton.
Video submitted through the WNEP News app, captured the scene as a portion of the building collapsed.
City officials said the building is unstable and will need to be taken down.
There is no word what started the fire.
