SCHUYLKILL HAVEN -- 110 years old: that's how old a woman in Saint Clair wants to be. She's not there quite yet, but she's pretty close!

Susan Tonitis is 102 years old, but she'll tell you she doesn't look a day over 101.

Even so, her friends and family at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Schuylkill Haven held a birthday party for Susan to celebrate the occasion.

Her daughter Diane says her mom has been making people laugh for more than a century.

"She's always had a great sense of humor. She's very feisty," said Diane Harahusah.

There's no doubt about that. Susan will tell you it's not polite to ask a lady how old she is!

We asked her how old she was going to be today and she said, "69."

"Now you're 102 years old?"

"Is that how old I am?" Susan asked.

"That's how old you are!"

"Oh, boy," Susan replied. "I'm pretty old!"

Susan says she likes birthdays; she's had plenty of them. She's kind of an expert at the whole thing.

"I like the cake and I like the people. I like the dances and I like the songs. I like when people wish me a happy birthday. That makes me feel good!"

Susan says she likes cake and spending time with her family on her birthday, but there's another she likes, too.

"She really likes presents."

Susan was born in Saint Clair and has spent all her life in the Pottsville area.

Her friends at Rest Haven say she's pretty sharp and that's what keeps her young.

"She still does crossword puzzles. She still does all her trivia and beats everyone out," said Kathy Deatrich.

Susan's family says this 102 year old isn't going anywhere anytime soon. She's a few years off from the age she really wants to be.

"Her goal is 110."

Happy birthday, Susan!
