POTTSVILLE -- Several holy items were stolen from a church in Pottsville over the weekend.
Police believe the thief got into St. John the Baptist Church on Mahantongo Street through an unlocked door on Saturday and took 14 paintings, two crystal candle sticks, and a statue.
Anyone with information is asked to call Pottsville police.
