POCONO RACEWAY -- NASCAR fans are already arriving at the Pocono Raceway for this weekend’s Windows 10 400.

Race weekend at the Tricky Triangle officially begins at the RV check in. The place was bustling days before engines rev up for the race this Sunday.

"You just go in . They look at you. They look at your tickets. You're OK and then they give you your wristbands and you are on your way,” said Mel Peters of Cincinnati.

Peters and all of the others checking in will be setting up shop on the infield. Raceway officials tell us they have big upgrades for fans – two 60-foot high video boards, giving fans a better viewing experience.

"Yeah because you get to see the replay of the accidents or the starting or the singing, whoever's on stage if you can't see,” said Peters.

Gary Smith says he didn’t know about the newest addition to the track and came prepared like he always does.

"I brought my television just in case. I always watch the race,” said Smith.

The folks at the Tricky Triangle say they have lots of plans for these new video boards and say they won't just be using them on race day.

"We're going to air the Xfinity from Iowa Speedway Saturday night. When they are over here to watch the fireworks and enjoy the band, they'll have the race playing in the background so it will be a lot of fun for everybody that's coming over here,” said Pocono Raceway CEO Brandon Igdalsky.

The 30 by 24 foot screens will display a full screen picture during the race and have the leader boards on the bottom.

But if you can’t wait until Sunday to see your favorite drivers, the raceway invites fans to Mohegan Sun Casino in Wilkes-Barre for the Annual Pocono Poker Tournament Thursday night.

"It's a really fun event. You see the drivers really just become a poker player and we lose them in the crowd because they are having just as much fun as the fans they're sitting with,” said Igdalsky.

The Windows 10 400 race is this Sunday. Start time is 1:30 p.m.
