MILFORD -- This fall's race for district attorney in Pike County will be a rematch of the primary.
District Attorney Ray Tonkin announced Monday he will accept the Democratic nomination and run in the fall against Republican nominee Kelly Gaughan.
Tonkin lost the GOP primary to Gaughan in the spring but won the Democratic nomination through write-in votes.
The district attorney says, however, he won't change his registration to Democrat.
