HUGHESTOWN -- Law enforcement officers from several agencies practiced responding to an emergency at a school in Luzerne County.
Around 35 local, state, and federal officers took part in a drill at Pittston Area Middle School Friday.
The officers pretended there was an active shooter in the school to see how they would respond to that kind of crisis situation.
A class and training demonstration was also held Thursday by the Luzerne County District Attorney's office.
