LONG POND -- A blood drive was held Thursday at Pocono Raceway in Monroe County in honor of fallen state troopers.
State police took a memorial lap around the race track Thursday afternoon to kick off the 10th annual event.
Before giving blood, people had an opportunity to ride around the track in their own vehicle for a donation of $10 per lap.
Proceeds from the Ride for the Red benefit the American Red Cross disaster fund.
