DURYEA -- Police in Luzerne County say a man who appeared to be armed with a gun held up the Peoples Security Bank on Main Street in Duryea.
According to the police chief, the man walked into the bank around 9:45 Friday morning and demanded money from a teller.
There's no word on how much money was taken.
The robber drove off in a dark-colored Dodge or Plymouth Neon with paint wearing off the roof.
