TOBYHANNA TOWNSHIP -- A high-speed police chase through Monroe County ended with one man behind bars.
Police say they attempted to make a traffic stop Wednesday morning on Interstate 80.
The driver, Michael Gielec, 26, of Cresco, refused to stop and led them on a chase through four communities before entering Kalahari Resort near Mount Pocono, getting out of his vehicle, and running into the woods.
Gielec was caught and is locked up facing a slew of charges.
