This weekend, terror attacks on three continents have investigators checking to see if all are connected. Two have been tied to the terror group ISIS.
The terror group has not taken credit for the beheading of a worker at a chemical plant in France, but ISIS has claimed responsibility for a bomb blast in Kuwait where at least 25 people were killed and 200 injured, and for a gunman's attack at a seaside resort in Tunisia where 38 people were killed and 39 injured.
Pennsylvania State Senator Bob Casey says ISIS appears to be stepping up its terror campaign, hitting targets like a house of worship, and a beach--places where people normally feel safe.
"This, I think, is further evidence that their regional strength might be increasing beyond the region that is Syria and Iraq and we have to be ever mindful and we've got the Fourth of July weekend coming up," Casey said.
The senator added that with ISIS attacks on three continents, US intelligence agencies must keep a close watch for the potential for terrorist acts on American soil in the next few days.
