53rd Annual Wayne County Antiques Show & Sale

The 53rd Annual Wayne County Antiques Show & Sale is in Honesdale.  The Women’s Club of Honesdale sponsors the show with a variety of antiques, all types of collectibles, a restoration experts to make repairs, and a certified antique appraiser to appraise up to 3 items per person at a cost of $5 each.  The antique show is at the Wayne Highlands Middle School, July 11 & 12:  Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.  Entrance fee to the antique show is $6 per person.

Squirrel Girls Tech Camp

Squirrel Girls Tech Camp, at Lackawanna College, offers a computer programing course for girls in grades 4th through 6th.  It’s held July 13 through July 17, each day 10 a.m. – 2 :30 p.m. at the college on Vine Street in Scranton.  The course features computer programing, 3D printing, animation, game creation, digital music, robotics and internet safety.  The inclusive camp is open to the first 20 registrants.  A limited number of scholarships are available for families that require assistance with the $50 registration fee.
