SCRANTON -- A man from Wayne County was killed Saturday morning while working on a car in Scranton.
According to the coroner, John McCabe, 51, of Hamlin was killed when he was pinned under a car. Investigators said McCabe was doing some kind of repair beneath the car in a parking lot on Main Avenue in Scranton.
Authorities said the car was on a jack but fell off while McCabe was still underneath, pinning him under the vehicle.
The coroner ruled McCabe's death an accident.
