WAYNE COUNTY -- Around the country, people will get behind the mic for 'Amateur Radio Field Day.' including Ham Radio operators in Wayne County.
The field day event allows people to learn more about the 100 year old communication which also provides a free public service during disasters without cell phones or the internet.
'The Wayne County Amateur Radio Club' will host its first field day Saturday, June 27, and Sunday at ValleyView Farms Campground in the Waymart area.
