HANOVER TOWNSHIP -- The attack that happened in France at an Air Products facility is hitting close to home for some in Hanover Township.
One man who worked at the facility there is still in disbelief and worries for Air Products’ employees.
Jim White of Slocum Township remembers working at the air products facility in Hanover Township in the 1980s as a welder. He's shocked to hear one of its facilities was the target of a terror attack. One person was beheaded and two others injured after the attack by alleged Islamic extremists.
“I mean you're working for your company and you have no peace of mind you're going to be safe, it's terrible,” White said.
White is feeling for the families of those people, as well as the more than 20,000 who work in air products facilities around the world.
“What's it doing to the people here? This is affecting everybody, White said. "It's terrible."
In Hanover Township, people still reported for work today at Air Products.
