SCRANTON -- PennDOT has launched a new project overnight that could have some early morning drivers pumping their breaks in the Scranton Area.

The big road project is expected to last for months. Newswatch 16's Ryan Leckey took viewers behind the scenes of summer road work, milling, paving, pothole patching, and much more.

McDade Expressway: Monday - Saturday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. until August
Keyser Avenue: Monday – Saturday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. from July 6 to August 15
State Route 924 in Hazleton: The middle of July to June 2016, with various lane closures and flaggers
Expect 24 hour single lane conditions on Interstate 81 north and south in Schuylkill County between the Lebanon County line and Exit 104 (PA 125) through May 2017 (single lane patterns will be removed during winter months)
US 209 in Monroe County between Mt. Nebo Road and Municipal Drive:  9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. through September
Main Avenue, Scranton: Paving expected as soon as all ramps are completed in September
First of three roundabouts to be opened at the Wilkes Barre/Scranton Airport Tuesday
