After a two-week suspension from conducting any football practices the Berwick football team along with head coach George Curry held a 7 on 7 drill with Danville at Cripin Field Thursday night June 18th. The District II committee will meet with Berwick officials on June 24th to discuss the alleged recruiting violations against the team. The Berwick school board recently voted to open up Coach Curry's position beginning for the 2016 football season, allowing Coach Curry one final year. Curry plans on staying at Berwick and re-applying for his current position.
