HONESDALE -- A driver was sentenced to up to 14 years in prison for a deadly DUI crash in Wayne County.
Jason Day was sentenced Thursday morning to 5 to 14 years in state prison.
A jury found Day guilty on all counts last month for the crash in 2014 on Route 191 that killed Zachary Possemato.
Possemato, 19, Day's cousin, died after Day hit him with his pickup truck along Route 191 near Hancock, New York on May 16, 2014.
Day did not stop. He kept going and went to state police 12 hours later saying he thought he hit a deer.
