HONESDALE -- A former shoe factory in Honesdale has been condemned for a second time and now borough officials are barricading it from the public.
Crews put up concrete barriers around the former Hussco Shoe Factory on East Street.
The building has been vacant for years and this month, the codes officer says the roof collapsed on the third floor.
He fears someone could get hurt by falling bricks, so 13th Street in Honesdale is closed at that location.
Efforts are being made to contact the owner to get the place in Honesdale fixed up or torn down.
