SCRANTON — The hearing for a man charged with killing a woman in Scranton was postponed Friday after a tip that someone else committed the murder.
Joseph Thornton is charged with homicide in the death of Stephanie Tyminski last year at Valley View Apartments.
As the hearing was getting underway, Thornton had an outburst in court.
Thornton’s attorney says the magistrate decided to postpone the hearing because he got a tip Wednesday that another person has admitted to killing Tyminski.
