TEXAS TOWNSHIP -- One couple's wedding ceremony in Wayne County was straight out of the classic Nintendo game "The Legend of Zelda."
Robert Piazza and Christa Slayton said, "I do," at the GameStop near Honesdale Sunday evening.
You could say the video game store holds special meaning for the couple. They met there during a Mario Kart tournament early last year and Piazza also proposed at the game store. So it's only natural they decided to hold their nuptials there as well.
The groom was Link and the bride Princess Zelda with family and friends dressed like other characters from the game.
The wedding ceremony for the two Nintendo super fans was hosted by GameStop and Nintendo of America.
The reception featured a Super Smash Bros. tournament.
Newswatch 16 wishes the happy couple all the best as they play the game of marriage-- one level at a time.
