WILLIAMSPORT -- A man was taken into custody after a police chase that began in Lycoming County and ended in Clinton County.
Authorities said police tried to arrest a man from Iowa after an incident at a shelter in Williamsport Tuesday afternoon. He took off in a car and police chased him for a time, but said they backed off due to speed.
The man ended up wrecking on Bellefonte Avenue in Lock Haven.
Police in Clinton County took the man into custody following the pursuit.
