SUNBURY -- A man is behind bars accused of a stabbing that left two men in critical condition in Sunbury.
One of those victims is fighting for his life and police say at this point he may not survive.
According to cops, it all went down around 2 a.m. on North Third Street in Sunbury. Detectives say Tyrone Lee got kicked out of a bar and later ended up stabbing two men.
Now, Lee is locked up, charged with attempted homicide, and one of those victims is fighting for his life.
"Love you Tyrone...Love you too...Yo make sure you get my bail up man."
Those were Tyrone Lee's only words for the camera as he was taken from a district judge's office in Sunbury on the way to be locked up.
Police say in the early morning on North Third Street in Sunbury, Lee attacked Benjamin Herrold and James Herb with a knife stabbing both victims a number of times.
The wounds were deep enough to strike both men's livers. Police say doctors are unsure if Herrold will survive.
According to detectives, a bouncer, at a the bar called Fubar, told them the problems started before the stabbing when he had asked Lee to leave the bar and took away his knife, but returned it after Lee appeared to calm down.
Laurie Johnson owns the bar and says Lee had been acting obnoxiously the whole time he was inside.
"I run a very very tight ship, the person if there are any sort of problems is asked to leave our bar, there is no questions, there is nothing, they are done," said Johnson.
She says she is not sure if the stabbing was related to a scuffle on the sidewalk or a separate argument.
Johnson added, "My security went above and beyond everything that they could have done to help them, my security actually chased the person who was stabbing someone else."
According to court papers, a security guard from Fubar told detectives he chased Tyrone Lee into a parking lot, but when Lee threatened him with a knife, he put up his hands and backed off.
Minutes later police arrested Lee after someone spotted him on foot nearby.
He is now charged with a number of criminal counts including attempted homicide and aggravated assault.
Meanwhile, his alleged victims are being treated for life threatening injuries at Geisinger Medicial Center near Danville.
"An ER doctor says the one victim is very critical. Hopefully he pulls through and we can talk to him more after he gets more stable," said Sunbury Police Chief Bradley Hare.
There's no evidence that shows if Lee knew the two men before the stabbing.
Lee is locked up on $300,000 bail.
He was taken to the Snyder County Prison because a fire destroyed the prison in Northumberland County in Sunbury.
