TREMONT TOWNSHIP -- One person is dead after a crash Wednesday in Schuylkill County.
It happened around noon on Route 125 in Tremont Township.
State police said Charles Smith, 69, of Pottsville crashed into some trees and an embankment. His van caught fire and he was killed.
Troopers believe speed played a role in the crash.
