EAST STROUDSBURG -- An animal shelter is caring for four dogs it says were abandoned in Monroe County.
The dogs were found in cardboard boxes near the Eagles Glen shopping center in East Stroudsburg.
Officials with the AWSOM animal shelter say the dogs are all suffering from ear and eye infections and their hair is matted to their skin.
All four dogs are being cared for at the animal shelter in Monroe county.
