LYCOMING COUNTY — Strong storms blew through central Pennsylvania Monday night bringing heavy downpours, large hail, and lightning.

In Williamsport, water collected on the roads in the area of Freedom Road and Elmira Street.

There was more flooding on Atherton Street in State College.

Crews were shoveling mud off the road that closed Route 973 in Mifflin Township, near Jersey Shore.

Viewers sent in many pictures of the large hail that fell with the storms.
