POTTSVILLE -- It was not too chilly for ice cream for some people in Schuylkill County.
Yuengling’s Ice Cream celebrated Free Cone Day by scooping out a variety of flavors Friday outside the Yuengling brewery in Pottsville.
The free ice cream flavor options included sea salt caramel swirl, caramel popcorn, black and tan, and orange cream.
The free ice cream kicked off Yuengling's 5K Lager Jogger that will be held Saturday in Pottsville.
The ice cream crew will be back on the streets during the race, but the ice cream won't be free. It will cost $1.
