HAMILTON TOWNSHIP -- A fundraising campaign has paid off for a nursing home in Monroe County.
About 60 brand new 24 inch flat-screen TVs were delivered Monday to Pleasant Valley Manor in Snydersville.
The old televisions were outdated, but the nursing home couldn't afford to replace all of them.
So $5,500 was raised through a Go Fund Me account to buy as many as the nursing home could.
"It’s great. It feels like a great accomplishment for the facility and hopefully it will make a lot of people happy," said Jeff Rinker with Pleasant Valley Manor.
The nursing home says it will keep the fund open for any future donations in hopes it can eventually provide a brand new TV for each and every resident.
