WILKES-BARRE -- It was a little bit chilly for a parade Sunday, but that didn't stop the party in Wilkes-Barre.

It was the Diamond City's turn to celebrate Saint Patrick.

The downtown was filled with Irish music as the bands and mummers strutted through the streets.

There were activities for the whole family before the parade stepped off. There was face painting and story time for the kids, and an Irish folk band who played some tunes before things got underway.

Mark Dutkiewicz who played St. Patrick in the parade said, "Great, it feels great, nothing better, you wanna walk with us?"

This was the 35th year for the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Wilkes-Barre.
