SCRANTON -- Police say a driver may have had a medical issue while driving, causing him to go off the road and hit the side of a vacant building.
Emergency crews said the driver of the SUV nearly hit two other cars when he veered off West Lackawanna Avenue around 11:30 a.m. Monday and hit the side of the former Central New Jersey rail terminal.
There was minimal damage to the building.
The driver was injured and had to be removed from the SUV and was then taken to the hospital.
