ARCC/YMCA Shamrock 5k Run/Walk
Shamrock 5K Run/Walk benefits the Abuse & Rape Crisis Center and the YMCA of Bradford County. Children and pets are welcome to join the Shamrock 5K on Saturday, March 21 starting at 10 a.m. at the YMCA on College Ave. in Towanda. Medals will be awarded in different age groupings, and for the overall winners. Pre-registration is available from the Facebook page “Shamrock 5K”. Registration is $15 per person until March 15 (groups of 5 or more people, $13/person). After March 15, all registrations are $20/person. Make checks payable and mail to: ARCC, P.O. Box 186, Towanda, PA 18848, or drop off at YMCA, 9 College Ave., in Towanda.
Spring Craft Fair
A “Spring Craft Fair” is sponsored by the West Side Career & Technology Center. Admission is free with free parking at the school on Evans Street in Kingston on Saturday, March 21, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. There will be over 70 crafters and vendors, along with food available, door prizes, and a Chinese auction. The event benefits the SkillUSA Club for professional development, service opportunities, and an opportunity to compete in local, state and national competitions.
