WILKES-BARRE — A woman is facing assault charges for allegedly attacking police and a pregnant children and youth worker in Luzerne County.
Wilkes-Barre police say Christine Totten, 32, of Pittston got angry Monday and shoved the worker after being told her infant was secured improperly in a child seat.
Officers were called and that’s when police say Totten tried to bite and kick police officers.
The woman was taken to the hospital for an evaluation.
