SCRANTON -- Lots of folks took a day off from work Tuesday and hit Montage Mountain for a day of skiing, snowboarding, and tubing. But all the fun had a purpose.
Winter Festival 2015 is an event designed to introduce corporate executives from outside the area to the quality of life northeastern Pennsylvania has to offer.
The Scranton Plan, the industrial marketing affiliate of the Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce, along with Montage Mountain, Mericle Commercial Real Estate Services, PPL Electric Utilities, and UGI welcomed more than 80 real estate brokers, consultants, and site selection specialists from neighboring states to a day on the slopes.
This year was the 30th anniversary of Winter Festival in Lackawanna County.
