PLAINS TOWNSHIP -- Firefighters were called out Friday afternoon to put out a house fire in Luzerne County.
They were called around 3:30 p.m. to Main Street in Plains Township.
When Newswatch 16 was there smoke was showing from the second floor windows.
One firefighter was cut by glass from a window frame.
The deputy fire chief said it appeared the fire started accidentally by someone trying to thaw frozen pipes.
