SCRANTON -- A runaway truck damaged a car and a home in Scranton late Tuesday night.
Officials said a truck went off Main Avenue around 11:30 p.m. and slammed into a parked car, which then hit the home.
The woman who lives there was shaken up by the crash.
"I opened the door and I was like 'oh, my God, there's a truck in my yard!' Then I looked over and see my daughter's car and was just like 'thank God that didn't come through my window' because I was sitting on the couch right there," said Johanna Johnson.
Scranton police arrested the driver on suspicion of DUI.
Now, they're waiting for test results before filing charges in Lackawanna County.
