HAZLETON — A man faces a list of charges after police say he assaulted and threatened a woman in Hazleton.
Police said Manuary Suarez, 22, of Hazleton hit the woman several times during an argument and threatened to kill her family.
It happened around 3:30 p.m. Sunday on West Birch Street in the city.
Officers said Suarez also began lighting things on fire inside the home.
Suarez was charged with two counts of arson, terroristic threats, simple assault, five counts of recklessly endangering another person, among other charges.
He was locked up in the Luzerne County jail.
