SUNBURY -- Firefighters spent hours in freezing temperatures trying to save a home in Northumberland County.
Crews were called to the home on Miller Street in Sunbury just before 2 a.m. Sunday.
The home was destroyed. One woman lived here and has to stay elsewhere, but neighbors were thankful that firefighters kept the flames from spreading.
"I thought if they wouldn't have showed up when they did it would have came over to our side," said neighbor Donna Thompson.
Officials said they're still looking for what caused that fire.
