RUSH TOWNSHIP -- A crash Saturday afternoon in Schuylkill County sent nearly a dozen people to the hospital.
Many of them had to be flown from the scene of the wreck on Route 309 near Hometown.
Officials say it happened just after noon when a car crossed the median and slammed into a van carrying ten people. The ages of the passengers range from 7 to 33 years old.
Multiple helicopters were called to the scene and Route 309 was shut down for a few hours.
Police don't believe any of the injuries are life threatening.
The cause of the crash in under investigation.
