WILKES-BARRE -- Graphic pictures were shown in court Friday of two bodies found buried in Hugo Selenski's back yard.

He is accused of killing Michael Kerkowski and Tammy Fassett in 2002.

In court, the jury saw exactly how police found their bodies. Some people found it hard to look at those pictures of when the victims were found buried in Hugo Selenski's backyard during a search of his home in 2003.

Hugo Selenski's cousin was present during the police search and he took the stand Friday. Brian Higdon is Selenski's first cousin.

Higdon was at Selenski's home near Dallas when police arrived with a search warrant in 2003 and testified that in that moment Selenski told him, "he had a big problem."

The bodies of the two victims were found in Selenski's backyard that day.

Higdon admitted to the defense that, "at that time I was hoping that he was innocent."

He later recalled a time where Selenski made an admission to him about Kerkowski, saying, "I had to take care of him. I said, 'what do mean, you had to take care of him?' I asked him if the pharmacist was dead. He said yes."

Prosecutors carried evidence into the courtroom with photos of how the pharmacist and his girlfriend were found.

Trooper Joseph Plant showed the picture to a jury as he also described them. He pointed out in a photo of the body of Tammy Fassett, "that's a zip tie around her neck, her hands, and her feet."

State police testified that Fassett and Kerkowski had been strangled and then buried one on top of the other.

Along with Selenski's cousin, two other witnesses close to him, a friend and an associate testified.

One said Selenski admitted to intimidating the Kerkowski's parents for money and the other testified Selenski joked with him about killing people.
