In a stunning late morning conference call the new owners of the Scranton Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (SWB Investors LLC) made a major front office move as  RailRiders President and G.M. Rob Crain announced that he will step down in that role.

Jeremy Ruby, the teams' Executive VP of Operations, will take over the G.M. role on interim basis for the 2015 season.

Ruby, who has been with the team in a variety of roles for 15 years including a stint as the G.M, will be promoted to the General Manager role once again.

we as season ticket holders are actually considering ending our run with the Railriders with this heartbreaking announcement. We have come to know Mr.Crain over the past years and have seen 1st hand how important a role he plays at PNC field. He has treated us more like friends than customers always taking the time to great us and to be there at the end of the night with agood night and thank you handshake. He has brought that stadium to life like no other. He has never been the suit in the upperlevel seat, he has been the friend in the stands that you look forward to seeing just as much as the game.
Poor attendance , blame the unhappy people in our area. Poor performance by the team blame MIley, and the big yanks for for constantly moving players how can any team do well when you dont have a chance to get to know who’s watching your back on the field from day to day.
After waiting for several long months looking forward to all of the wonderful seasonal announcements and events we were kicked in the teeth by this horrible news and move from the new owners!
