HANOVER TOWNSHIP — Two men are locked up in Luzerne County after police say a stolen gun was traded for heroin.
Police arrested Gary Raczkowski, 19, of Ashley and Ryan Robles, 20, of Wilkes-Barre.
According to police, an officer saw what appeared to be a drug deal in the parking lot of EZ Express on the San Souci Parkway around 2:30 p.m. Monday.
One of the men took off on foot and was caught by police a short time later. Police said the man dropped a gun between two houses. They said the gun had been stolen from a home in Hanover Township.
Officers said the gun was traded for 50 packets of heroin.
Robles faces charges including receiving stolen property and carrying a firearm without a license. Raczkowski was charged with criminal conspiracy.
