MAHANOY CITY — Firefighters were on hand in Schuylkill County to take part in WNEP-TV’s “Operation Save a Life” program.

The Schuylkill County Association of Fire Chief’s passed out a truckload of smoke detectors in Mahanoy City Tuesday night to fire departments from across the county.
