SCRANTON -- Fire forced five people from an apartment building in Scranton Saturday.
The assistant fire chief said fire started in one of the apartments on the first floor of the building around 7 p.m.
The building on South 6th Avenue is divided into four apartments. Officials said there was smoke damage to the other three apartments.
Everyone was able to get out and there were no reported injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
