WILLIAMSPORT -- Police in Lycoming County have identified three suspects involved in the first shooting of the year in Williamsport.
Returned gunfire left bullet holes up and down along a front porch post on Linn Street in the Newberry section of Williamsport.
"I was scared. I was really scared. I was shaking," said Nancy Esposito from Williamsport.
Investigators are looking for Rafiyq Harding, Tyshera Brown, and Sharonda Walker.
City police say the three suspects from Williamsport were arguing with Tyrell Jerrill and his sister outside their family’s home Monday evening.
"I heard them arguing and then once all of us got inside the house I heard pop, pop, pop, pop," said Annemarie Hohman.
Court papers say one shot was fired towards the house before the suspects drove away. The victim, Jerill, fired nine rounds from the house, hitting the banister, cars on the street, and a neighbor’s window. Police in Williamsport say Jerill has a carrying permit.
Neighbor Nancy Esposito is thankful those shots fired did not cause more damage.
"It really did scare me. I'm tempted to move," said Esposito.
Annmarie Hohman was unloading groceries out front.
"The other caregiver that was staying here, that was here actually working, was like, 'Get in the house. Get in the house. I see a gun,'" said Hohman.
The owner of the home did not want to talk on camera, but did tell us there were young children inside the home when shots were fired.
"Williamsport is becoming a common place for shootings," said Esposito.
"There will be more. I'm sure the way this town is and as many as there were last year and with the drugs. That's the problem, the drugs," said Hohman.
Anyone with information about the three suspects is asked to call police in Williamsport.
