MOUNT CARMEL -- A teacher who admitted hitting five teenagers with his vehicle and then taking off was sentenced in Northumberland County.
Victor Swaboski will spend two to five years in prison.
He pleaded guilty in October to a number of charges including aggravated assault, accident involving injury, and DUI.
Police say Swaboski was driving drunk in 2012 when he hit the teens near Mount Carmel.
Swaboski resigned from his position as a teacher in the Shamokin Area School District after his arrest.
