WILKES-BARRE -- An early morning fire chased two people into the cold Monday.
Fire crews said the flames started just before 1:00 a.m. on a vacant side of a double block home on Poplar Street in Wilkes-Barre.
Authorities told Newswatch 16 that two people living on the other side got out okay and are staying with friends.
The Red Cross is also helping them. So far, there is no cause for the fire.
